How to use aligners?

You have just started your journey to the ideal smile and it is not an easy journey. Take courage and do not give up on the second day of treatment. It only takes a little time until you get used to the aligners, and after that you will feel them as part of you.

Beauty always requires sacrifice, but in this case, masks are not a sacrifice that will bother you for a long time!

Transparent aligners are strong and durable but at the same time, they are delicate. That’s why you should treat them with care so that they reward you in the end by enabling you to have the desired smile.

Before taking the important step of placing the transparent aligners

Here are some facts you should know

– The first aligners are changed 3 weeks after the start of therapy, then every other mask is changed every two weeks.
– You must be persistent in using the aligners correctly for 22 hours a day. If one of the aligners does not fit properly, it will start to enter the mouth freely because it has loosened and not because it has performed its function. That will make all the subsequent aligners lose and not give the maximum and expected result.

Many people think that the main difference between using Aligners and traditional ones is simply the aesthetic difference. While many patients love to opt for the almost invisible method of straightening their teeth, remember that this method is also faster! Most patients see visible results within 2–3 months.

2. You will most likely experience some discomfort.

Braces may look smooth and soft compared to metal braces, but you may still experience some discomfort. Some people report discomfort and others do not. Smiles and pain tolerance vary from person to person.

3. Your teeth may feel loose.

Many patients who use maskers report that their teeth feel loose when they have them removed. This is completely normal, as your teeth need to loosen to move into their new positions.

4. Aligners are produced to order.
